ABOUT ABOUT

Join us in celebrating the closing of Immigrant Heritage Month and the citizenship efforts of the New Americans Campaign (NAC)!  Immigrant Heritage Month is a nationwide effort to celebrate immigrants and share inspirational stories of immigration in America. Philadelphia has been celebrating all month long by highlighting how immigrant stories connect all people.

On June 28th, NAC clients and volunteer attorneys will share stories about their experiences participating in the citizenship process. Since October, NAC volunteers have helped hundreds of Philadelphians apply for citizenship. The City of Philadelphia is proud to support six non-profit organizations – HIAS PA, Catholic Social Services, Esperanza Immigration Legal Services, the Southeast Asian Mutual Assistance Associations Coalition (SEAMAAC), the African Cultural Alliance of North America (ACANA) and the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians – that have held citizenship screenings and clinics around Philadelphia through NAC.

Please join us in celebrating Immigrant Heritage Month, our NAC volunteers, and Philadelphia's newest citizens.
