Mayor Jim Kenney and Chief Education Officer Otis Hackney will be available talk with representatives from multicultural media outlets covering the Philadelphia area about issues relating to Pre-K. PHLpreK provides local funds to the Pre-K programs for kids ages 3-4.
A representative of the Vision Zero Taskforce will also be present to discuss their mission. On November 7, 2016, Mayor Jim Kenney signed an Executive Order creating a Vision Zero Task Force and program. Philadelphia is committed to reducing traffic-related deaths on Philadelphia streets to zero by 2030.
